Why Do My Gel Nails Peel Off After One Day?

 

Have you ever tried giving yourself a gel manicure at home and they start peeling after one day?

The most common reason why the top coat starts peeling after one day is because the top coat isn’t cured properly. Sometimes this is a top coat formula and lamp compatibility issue - or that you just need to cure the top coat for longer. 

Another possibility is that you’ve wiped the first layer of liquid gel polish with alcohol - which reduces the adhesion of the top coat to the previous coat.
